Recovery partner organizations recognized for excellence in technical performance
Edison, NJ (April 9, 2022) — MTF Biologics recently announced winners of the 2021 Technical Awards. The awards were presented via webinar on April 9, 2022. This series of awards recognizes excellence in tissue recovery services.

It is only through their commitment to outstanding service to their communities that we can provide the much-needed allografts to awaiting recipients and fulfill our mission of Saving and Healing Lives,” said Mike Real, Vice President, Procurement.
TECHNICAL AWARDS
Golden Glove Award – In recognition of excellence in the sterile recovery of allografts for transplantation presented to Donor Network of Arizona and Gift of Life Michigan.
Golden Scalpel Award – In recognition of excellence in the recovery of soft tissue presented to The Living Legacy Foundation and DonorConnect.
Golden Hourglass Award – In recognition of excellence in facilitating the release of donors presented to Lifebanc and UT Southwestern Medical Center Transplant Services Center.
Golden Graft Award – In recognition of superior surgical technique in the skin allograft recovery presented to LifeShare Transplant Donor Services of Oklahoma.
Trinity Award – In recognition of excellence in the recovery of tissues needed to provide fresh Trinity allografts based on hemipelvis recovery rates and the bioburden rates presented to Arkansas Regional Organ Recovery Agency.
Neon Block Award – In recognition of excellence in the recovery of tissues needed to provide fresh osteochondral allografts based on en-bloc recovery rates, bioburden rates and the timely release of donor charts presented to LifeSource.
Emerald Award of Excellence – In recognition of achieving and maintaining best practice levels for the entire year of 2021 in key performance areas presented to Donor Network of Arizona, DonorConnect, Live On Nebraska, LifeShare Transplant Donor Services of Oklahoma, and Versiti.
Platinum Partner Award – In recognition of the recovery partner with best overall performance in all critical technical categories including donor release, bioburden results, soft tissue error rates, skin recovery, and hemipelvis and en-bloc recovery rates presented to Donor Network of Arizona.
In addition to the Technical Awards, MTF presented recognition awards for all Partners who achieved best practice levels in any of the performance categories during 2021.
